With swarms of customizable news sites, NowPublic dives in

Like many others this week, I was a bit downhearted to see Google search‘s interactive features. Clearly it’s the way the tide is shifting, but I enjoy the clean simple look of Google search, plus I enjoy the challenge of getting my sites to the top. Now they’ve just added a new level of difficulty to SEO.

I was pleased to see the new features on NowPublic, though. Customizeable news pages are increasingly popular and many think the future for sustainable journalism.

My question is though: Is the public’s appetite for these sites insatiable? I’m frankly not sure how many more usernames and passwords I can remember. And my list of favorite sites truly has a limit.

Ah well, time will tell….
